    Exceptional food & chill Saturday hang. Love the Iggy & Motörhead vibes. Great music the times we have stopped by. Been coming here for years but we stopped by tonight after a hiatus and the new menu DELIVERED! Tonight's pick and absolute dream was Cubano w a side salad. My better half ordered the Eddie burger with tots and both dishes were above and beyond. A true gem tucked by the Astoria Ditmars stop and across from the biergarten.

    Big fan of the Sparrow Tavern. Met up with two friends from college, one of whom I hadn't seen in 5 years. Went here because it looked classic and the beer garden next door that we had planned to meet at was closed. Two of us weren't from the area so while that was the place we found on yelp, super glad we ended up at the Sparrow. Really solid Happy Hour specials and the tavern burgers were great (we all got them). We drank Good Supply beer and I had Jack and diets. The bill came out to like 40 a head and we were there for awhile so I thought this was super reasonable. Really friendly bar staff - would 100% go back if I'm in Astoria again

    After passing by The Sparrow Tavern for years, we finally decided to try it out. We love trying out different spots in Astoria. The food was very good and the Zelda drink special was definitely a good surprise! I def recommend the swiss chard quesadillas. I saw another table ordering it and that kind of what attracted me to try it. The burger was also delicious and the vegetarian chili special. I look forward to coming back and trying new things! PS: shoutout to the very friendly waitresses.
